There are around 10 Noun in German which are called Weak Nouns. When they are used in a sentence - if the Case is Accusative or Dative they take “en” or “n” ending. These all nouns are Masculine.

If these nuns are not acting as subject then you will add the above mansion “n” or “en” with them.
Examples:

In these examples the object is singular but being weak noun it takes “n/en”.
